Showing Up

Running a small business while raising kids isn’t glamorous. It’s working around school schedules, sick days, and exhaustion. It’s building something slowly, sometimes quietly, while life keeps happening in the background.

I’m a single mom running a small business, and right now things feel tight. Bills don’t stop, work is inconsistent, and there’s no guaranteed income. Most days are routine—get the kids where they need to be, work in the margins, make dinner, repeat.

I don’t always stay positive, and I’ve stopped expecting myself to. What matters more is showing up and doing the next right thing. I worry, I double-check the numbers, and I question decisions—but I also trust that God hasn’t failed me yet, even when things feel uncertain.

This isn’t a breakthrough story. It’s just where I am right now—building steadily, trusting God day by day, and continuing the work quietly while life happens in the background.
